About 'Pastor in the Word' Ministry

Randy DeVaul pastors a Senior Adult Ministry in Central Florida. He is a Bible teacher, author, husband, and father, passionate about strengthening the Christian's relationship and walk with Jesus.  

This ministry began as an outflow of Randy's heart to encourage followers of Christ to live the biblical lifestyle as God intends for His children. 

For more than 40 years, Randy has been preaching, teaching, and serving in ministries with pastoral and shepherding care of those entrusted to him. He has written numerous articles and books on the Christian life, which are available online in print, and as e-books.

Randy has served as a Rapid Response Team Chaplain with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association/Samaritan's Purse, ministering to emergency first responders and families in life-changing crises - a carryover from over 35 years as an advanced EMT and EMT Instructor. He is married, has two adult children, and resides in Central Florida.
